Lazy Susan
A Lazy Susan is an object typically placed on a dinner table, making essential condiments and spices accessible to everyone around.
It is, however, also a young dance company that creates and produces contemporary dance performances and events.
Just like the object, LS&C. is a rotating platform – except instead of salt and pepper, the members exchange ideas and swap job roles amongst each other. LS&C. works on a non-hierarchal basis where the members rotate creative and administrative job roles between each other from production to production.
& Co.
Co. traditionally stands for company, however in our case it also stands for collective, collaborations, c(h)oreography, contribution, connection, cowbells, contradictions – the list goes on.
LS&C’s members come from all over the world, but somehow they have a similar view on dance and art. Although the members are frequently spread around Europe, LSC’s main base is in Rotterdam, NL.
LS&C wants to contribute to the contemporary dance scene through diverse performances reflecting the artistic expression of its members. On our website, you’ll find everything you need to know about our members, current productions and events.
